Dixon Mills is a historic pencil factory in downtown Jersey City. A decade ago it was converted to rental apartments; now the complex is being sold as condominiums

Project Description

Description:

In 1983 the Board authorized entering into a Redevelopment Agreement with Robert Morris and Norman Reizen of the Morris Companies for the renovation of the existing Dixon Ticonderoga Pencil Factory building located in downtown Jersey City.

The Dixon Mills apartment complex, which was renovated a decade ago, was sold a few months ago with the intent of selling off the units as condominium units.  Most of the units consist of market rate, one and two bedroom units.  This project is located close to the Grove Street Path Station. The website for the project is http://www.dixonmillsjc.com/.

Status:

Completed.
